چکیده

Salmonellosis is caused by a thousand serotypes of Salmonella enterica. The sour taste inherent to Nham leads people believe that this fermented ground pork dish safe from pathogenic microorganisms. aim study was evaluate the prevalence, serotype, drug susceptibility, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes spp. in homemade recipes Nham. There were 52 samples different makers 3 northeastern provinces Thailand collected between August November 2019. Further, 30 isolates (57.7 %) 14 serovars identified: S. Rissen (23.3 most prevalent, followed Typhimurium (16.7 %), Give Virchow (10 % each), Agona Kouka (6.7 each). All carried AMR but 7 antibiotic susceptible 23 (76.7 borne phenotype. resistant tetracycline (63 sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (36.7 streptomycin (33.3 nalidixic acid (30 cefotaxime enrofloxacin (3.3 %). Serotypes and Antimicrobial Resistance of Salmonella Enterica Isolated from Pork, Chicken Meat and Lettuce, Bangkok and Central Thailand.

Food of animal origins, particularly pork and chicken meat, has long been recognized as major sources of human salmonellosis. There have been recent reports of human salmonellosis outbreaks due to consumption of leafy green vegetables such as lettuce. In this study, 120 (40 pork, 40 chicken meat and 40 lettuce) samples were randomly collected from retail markets in Bangkok and central Thailand ...

Epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance in Salmonella isolated from pork, chicken meat and humans in Thailand.

Forty samples each of pork and chicken meat were collected from local retail markets in Khon Kaen, northeast Thailand, for Salmonella isolation and identification during 2003. Fifty-four isolates of Salmonella obtained from diarrheal patients admitted at a hospital located in the same town were serotyped. All isolates were also tested for antimicrobial sensitivity against amoxicillin (Amx), chl...

Serotype Distribution and Antimicrobial Resistance of Salmonella Isolates in Human, Chicken, and Cattle in Iran

Salmonellais a foodborne zoonotic enteric bacterium able to infect both humans and animals. This study aimed to identify the antimicrobial resistance of Salmonella serovars isolated from human, cattle, and poultry. Moreover, we investigated the probable transmission trends of antibiotic-resistant Salmonella isolates from food animals to human. A total of 242 Salmonella isolates collected from v...
